Customers may request a return under the following conditions:

The product is damaged, defective, or wrong item delivered.

The request is raised within 3 days of product delivery.

The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the original condition and packaging.

Due to the nature of the products, returns are not accepted in the following cases:

Customized, made-to-order, or personalized items.

Products returned without original tags, packaging, or proof of purchase.

Delays in shipping caused by courier services or natural disruptions.

Once your return request is approved and the item is received and inspected, a refund will be initiated.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or via bank transfer, usually within 7-10 business days after verification.

For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, bank details will be required for refund processing.

If available, customers can opt for a replacement instead of a refund for eligible return reasons (e.g., damaged or incorrect item).

If the return is due to our/vendor error (wrong or damaged product), the return shipping cost will be covered by Apan Mithila.

For any other reason, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs.

Each item is crafted by local artisans, and slight irregularities or natural differences are part of the charm of handmade goods. These are not considered defects and are not eligible for return.
